6,3AT Resistor needed

Hi,

Does anyone have 6,3AT resistor.

My heating system (hot water) has stopped working and Iíve determined itís the 6,3AT resistor that is at fault.

Fingers crossed someone can help.

Re: 6,3AT Resistor needed

It's a fuse, not a resistor.

For those that may be able to help:

Glass 6.3A 250V 32mm

The T (Tršge) is important otherwise he might and up with F (Flink) or even FF and will have to constantly change fuses.

What we are looking for is a Feinsicherung Tršge 6.3 Ampere of unknown diameter.

Those fuses are available in different diameters and length. Common are 20 mm, 25 mm, and 32 mm length. Measure it or you will end up with the wrong size. Glass or Ceramic should not make a difference.

Might be available at Interdiscount or in Coop/Migros in the section were the light bulbs are. Otherwise Jumbo, Coop Bau und Hoppy, Migros do-it, etc...

In Zurich there is 24h fuse vending machine at Beatengasse 4 near the EWZ.
