looking for a suggestion for a housewarming gift

My Swiss friend (acquaintance?) is moving into a new house soon, and she invited me to cook together cheese fondue there. In addition to white wine to pair with the fondue, what would be an appropriate housewarming gift? I was looking at another thread and agree that it should neither be something permanent nor an ornament. I think the aroma oil is a nice suggestion. Perhaps red wine wrapped or some tiny item like Geschirrtuch would also work?

A bit more information. She is in her 20s, already working. We are language partners, i.e. she helps me with learning German while I help her with learning my mother tongue. Recently, she invited me to cheese fondue organized by her family friend, which I went and had a nice time.

Flowers are always a good gift for a woman, or a plant in a pot. Temporary to semi-permanent. As long as she isnít allergic.

I like the idea of an aroma oil -- or perhaps a nice scented candle. And that will help her house smell nice after making that fondue.

Yankee Candle makes some nice jarred candled in various scents and sizes. "Home Sweet Home" is one of my favorite scents of theirs for autumn and winter. It's a bit like a mix of vanilla and cinnamon and isn't too strong.
