Dear komsomolez thanks a lot for your answer. Not sure if I will manage to get 80 or 90k as maybe i'm asking something out of budget.
By running some high level calculation it seems that my net salary will be 4.3k per month (With 80k per year) and 2.1k per month (with 50k per year) for my wife. So more or less we should be around 6k net per month... not sure if we can compare them to 8k net of CH

Did you try the search? I think there was a relocate to M thread a year ago or so.
Rent in M is a big cost, but groceries, eating out, transport should be significantly cheaper than Zurich. It is a good city, but if you expect same accessability of mountains or lakes, you will be disappointed. Yes, there are mountains and lakes, and half a million people trying to drive there on good weekends.

We already have an identical thread and it's not even old. So why a new one?

Would be possible to get some official information and possible some rough numbers with some website to run comparisons? thanks a lot for the help, truly appreciated.

I have no idea. Have you tried Glassdoor?

Again, no idea what a business analyst does, but for risk mgmt specialists in banks, I would guess (!) levels of 85k+
Where do you get if you translate your cost + savings in Zurich to German gross?

Munich used to be a great city - nicknamed a "toytown" because crime was so low - lived there for 6 years and still have some of my best friends there - it's gone down a long long way since 2015 due to Mutti's guests.

At least Munich is a major touristic destination vs. Zurich a provincial town.
