table/panel/cabinet/format saws
Hi everyone,
I'm looking to get myself a mid-range table saw for hobby carpentry, and have been watching ricardo and tutti of course for second-hand options. I'm also exploring getting something new but there seems to be very few options compared to the US for example, and I can't find anyone that either imports them, or even a decent dealer that has them in stock to see in person. Has anyone any experience in this market? By way of example, something like the Laguna Fusion F2 would be in the right price range/ quality for what I'd like. I don't want a contractor saw, or basic tabletop saw.
I can technically order to Germany and pick it up over the border, but many of the saws are 100KG plus, so not the easiest to load and unload into the back of the car. Even when I look at this option, Germany also seems to be missing a market.
The second-hand market is okay, but is largely dominated by INCA which I don't want as they have a tilting table rather than blade (with the exception of the master which seems over-priced for a product which is 40 years old).
Any suggestions? Is there a good swiss brand I'm missing?
Thanks!
