Are you really still flogging this dead horse? It was all very clearly explained at the time. I even got clarification from EB back then following a snarky comment from LIB addressed to me.

It is perfectly acceptable to come back as a new user using a different name if the original account was deleted by the user themselves which is exactly what Rufus had done. It is not allowed to have two accounts running simultaneously or to come back as a new user if one has been permanently banned.

LIB erroneously banned the new user as a duplicate member which was not the case as the previous account had been deleted. She should not have received a ban for that account as confirmed by EB therefore there was no valid reason for her not to be allowed to re-register.

As you can see there is history between Rufus and LIB and in my opinion he really shouldn’t have been moderating that exchange himself. He should have asked another mod to step in and act as they saw fit.

As the rules of EF stand it is the likes of Codpeace et al who should be questioned as they were all previously permanently banned in their previous incarnations. Why aren’t you questioning their presence here?
I believe Loz self deleted in the end rather than being banned so he falls into the same category as Rufus.
