Hotel-Quality Bed

Hi all,

As we spend quite a proportion of our life in bed (fortunately or unfortunately), it does make sense to buy a quality one.

Thinking of all the good memories of sleeping in a high quality hotel bed, wondering if one could replicate the experience at home.

Speaking of that... for all those people here appreciating a high-quality night sleep - what are your mattress & bed favourites?

Has any of you bought maybe a hotel variant - e.g. Ritz Carlton one?

Anything that you could recommend (pls avoid the IKEA and similar variants). thanks

I can recommend Hästens or Elite.

They do cost a fair bit, but the quality is excellent.

Re: Hotel-Quality Bed

Hotel chains are often quite open about which beds and linens they use, and these are frequently reviewed on travel industry sites.

Here's just a few links which may repeat some info...

https://cboardinggroup.com/11-best-h...ess-you-loved/

https://www.travelmag.com/articles/h...s-you-can-buy/

When I used to stay in hotels a few times a month for work, my preferences were Marriott, Radisson and Hotel Du Vin for sleep quality.

Re: Hotel-Quality Bed

I can also recommend Schloss Atelier. You can go visit at Schlieren, they have good warranty and they're great looking furniture. Ever since we got ours, I haven't slept in a nicer bed, including in pretty swanky hotels.

I've heard great things about Coco-mat as well, and were always happy to sleep on them in a couple of hotels. I think they can give you try-out coupons for stays in Switzerland

Mattresses are a deep rabbit hole and discussions about box spring vs foam are endless online, so best for you to take your time, shop around, and try to see what feels nice.
