The season doesn’t start until April and even then there are limited sailings until mid May when peak season starts so the OP would need to plan that trip for later in the year.

It is a lovely ride though when the weather is good.

Yes, thanks. Should have made it clear abotu season. And check timetable to be sure to get on Le Neuchâtel steamer- other boats are electric or perhaps even diesel, not sure.

From the Port in Murten/Morat, a steep hill to go up to the lovely medieval walled town. On the occasions we took elderly visitors there, we booked a taxi to take us up for lunch and to take us down to Port later.
