Re: Growing cannabis

Hi All,

I recently moved to Zurich and was very dissapointed that they aren't allowed to sell seeds anymore. Do you have some tipps and tricks where to get some and whats the best method to keep it low (housing), not to get busted in the end. Talking about 1-2 plants for self-medication.

Ordering online doesn't seem the best method, some others from the forum had troubles with the police.

PS: It's sad, you can buy almost any (shitty) drug on the streets - but no weed ;(

Re: Growing cannabis

Apologies if this has already been covered (did not read the thread).

I see these LED lights advertised from time to time for "house plants". They should dramatically reduce the electricity consumption.

Interesting programme, I just thought thinking that many of the people that they spoke to were a little overboard about their usage...like comparing a normal pot smoker to an alcaholic.
There was something grim about the kid smoking with his old man... not on days before school though... maybe that's a good line before things get "a little overboard"... on the other hand if he's smoking every-non school day...

Even the smallest balcony provides enough light for a few plants, for free. So I've been told. Do remember, the police will not bother with the odd plant here or there, but if they see twelve aroused females looking buddalicious, they'll consider each plant worth CHF2000 and you'll your friend will be on the pointy end of the law. So I've been told.

Hemp is grown as a commercial product, however it is modified version of the plant with practically no THC content.
It is not a modified version, but simply a variety with a much lower THC content (i.e. normal, the high THC variants are the "modified" versions)

There is an inverse relationship between THC content and fiber strength, by the way, so don't go making rope out of your home-grown!

I am specifically thinking about it from the point of view where in the U.S.A. you can get it for stress relief...
Colin. I've never actually seen a stressed-out Swissie.

I think it's due to the widespead misuse of Aromat.

Harry.

I My friend also enjoys a good RappiGold too. He's been known to play both cards at the same time and doesn't care too much who knows, although he does get a bit wobbly towards midnight, which isn't noticed usually as everyone else is in the same state.

I don't have his telephone number, though, so no pleading PMs please.

Re: Growing cannabis

It grows beautifully in the Jura at 950m. We found an old envelope with Tagettes hautes (high african marigolds) in the utility when we moved in so I planted them - then the local kids started asking what I was growing. Since then they just self sow and grow to 2m high. I dig them up in the autumn and put them in the compost heap to keep the wormies happy during winter.

Our house used to be the Vicarage - so it seems the Vicar regularly needed inspiration for his services.

It is more likely that you find a Tatzelwurm than stress in Bern.

Re: Growing cannabis

There are three shops in Genève that I know of that sell seeds for those interested. One in Paquis, one in Carouge and the other in Acacias. Check the net for exact locations.

Cash only.

Are you saying Swiss cops and Swiss Law and culture is more tolerant than UK?
Hurray, that's a first.

Mine grow wild in the garden, and I've been told it is very good stuff. But we don't use it.

And so I thought - but an expert from UK was amazed when he visited last year. Some plants grew to almost 2 meters, in full sun against the house. Seeds were left here by the previous owner- and I never knew what they were.

hmmm--well if it's that amazing, you should collect some seeds grow inside under controlled lighting and prunning...and you will have a product a 1000x even more amazing.
