Where to buy rope for window shutter

Does anybody know where to buy the rope in the photo below? It is part of the window-shutters that make the rooms completely black. I have a narrow window of opportunity to fix a couple in our apartment that our broken, since scaffolding is currently set up. I found the right type of rope at Coop Bau & Hobby, but they don't sell it in a shorter width.

Bauhaus in Schlieren has it - noticed it there a couple of days ago, but can't comment on the width.

I went there today, they had exactly what I needed. Fixed two windows this evening. Thanks!

Re: Where to buy rope for window shutter

Hi all,

I have a similar problem, the base on the top right that holds the rope is broken and the shutters are now tilting. Called the landlord and the insurance will take 1-2 months to get this done.

I want to try and do this myself by buying the part where the rope goes in and do it myself. Any idea where the best place for this is around Zug?

Or if you know a shop that fixes such things to get a quote?
