Re: Games/Software in English

I assume your account is registered to a Swiss address (content of the store changes depending on location), if so then the soundtrack is listed as a free download it is right at the end of the content list and is called "Tonspur".

Re: Games/Software in English

HELP!!! I have searched these forums, and some of the info seems a bit dated. I need to buy my son a few Xbox 360 games, but I want to make sure they are #1 - In English, #2 - will work on his US console. If I order from some of the sites in the UK, will those work? I tried to order from the US amazon, but they won't ship these outside of the US. It's one of the few items he wants for Christmas, so I need help soon!!
Thanks!

How are you playing a US xbox 360 here?

It would help if you list some games before we tell you if they are available in English.

Re: Games/Software in English

We brought our US Xbox 360 & US TV with us and are using transformers. It works great! I am looking for Guitar Hero - World Tour and for Call of Duty 4. Thanks.

That would be a problem. The games here are encoded on the PAL format and your TV and xbox support NTSC. Unless you have a really nice TV that does both. Games from the UK will have the same problem.

Your best bet would be to find a retailer in the US to send the games overseas or to buy them on eBay and beg the seller to ship to Europe

Try asking in softridge as they quite often have 360 import games from the states, I used to buy US games from a Canadian movie store and have them shipped to Switzerland, if i can find the link I will post it.

How about Fallout 3, does a version bought in Zurich also have English sound ?
If your Internet connection can handle it, buy a download version from www.gamersgate.com

Re: Games/Software in English

If you want Fallout 3 for the PC you can also buy and download it from Steam quite cheap.

English games

So I usually use wog.ch to check which games are in English but that seems to have shut down. Could someone point me in the direction of a new site. Also not sure if this was the right spot so if a mod or admin needs to move it I understand and all.
