| | Clothing Size conversions
Does anyone have a good chart that shows the different clothing size conversions from UK to Swiss/Euro?
Mens sizing really confuses me as I have seen different types of sizing (at least it has seemed that way to me) and bra sizes? well I still after 3 and a half years have no idea and order from the UK
Basically what is the euro/swiss size for a mens 36 or 38 waist? I have figured the womens sizing out but not jeans? anyone know how to work out jeans sizes in H&M for example?
mind field...
cheers

I find trying it out is the best option. Take H&M for example....their stuff gets made in different countries and the fit varies. When I try a 30" waist jeans it sometimes fits perfectly, sometimes slightly loose and sometimes it is bit tight. This link seems to have all kinds of measurements. | This user would like to thank ze devil's advocate for this useful post: | |

I am being very optimistic, I know i don't have a cat in hells chance of fitting into a pair (yet!!)

Thanks ZDA - looked at that link earlier - why does it say Europe and Italy and France? am I to assume Europe encompasses Switzerland and anywhere else bar France and Italy who decided to have their very own sizing guide? so confusing

The other thing that I really dislike is that lot of MENS stuff is "LOW CUT"! Jeans that fit me nicely are sometimes only in low cut If I wanted to show everyone my hairy @ss and my butt crack then I would wear see through plastic gear I always buy a pair when in England |

That is info I did not want to know- waxing is your solution (b, c & s), then you could grace us with those nicely fitting jeans |

It's a nightmare. It doesn't just change from inches to cm. It depends what the national average size is... a European 38 is different depending on the country and there are different sizes for Spain , Portugal, Italy, France... etc.
Bra sizes change from inches to cm but the cup size on the continent usually has to be bigger too- a 36B is a XX C...
Really everything has to be tried... |

Actually I was hardly hairy but the older I get the hairier I become
If you think I will let anyone near my backside then you are dreaming!

Try this link - converts most things (e.g. shoe and clothing sizes, men & women)
