well. . now we know where we can buy GOLD.

I want to know whether we can take the purchased GOLD to other countries (home country) in check-in baggage/cabin baggage?

If allowed, is there any limitation on the amount of GOLD we can take with us?

Did anyone do that?

Regards
Prasad

The Swiss dont care what you take out

The problem will obviously be on the other end of the journey, and hence the answer will vary ...

Even if you name a particular country, the question is sadly of no interest to anyone in Switzerland.

good luck

Re: Buying gold in Zurich

Yep you sure can buy them. Today, in preopening, the 1oz Maple leaf will cost you CHF 982, and they will buy it back off you for 910.
20 Franc Vreneli - they will sell it for 187 and buy it for 169.

The prices will change during the day. You could find the current prices around here somewhere - look under Metals/Coins on the left.

I'd say bullion coins would be available from most branches with counter service. Just look for a sign with "Erdmetall" (?) or similar. CS would have them too.

Re: Buying gold in Zurich

Hi,
In case someone wants to take gold to india, you can see the rules on the customs website:
10kg gold is allowed with duty:
700 Rs per 10g for tola bars.
