I plan to import new skis from EU to Switzerland. What are the costs associated with such import? I know that I will have to pay 7.6% VAT. Are there any Swiss customs duties applicable in addition to this? Is there an administrative fee for the import procedure itself?

I imported ski's 2 years ago. They were delivered by DPD who sent me an invoice for the 7.6% + 5 chf administration fee. That was all.

I bought some in Austria a couple of years ago. €400. I declared them at the border crossing (much to the surprise of the guard). They deducted the Austrian MWST, add 7.6% to the remainder, which I paid.

That was it.
