Re: Didgeridoo

This probably doesnt help but you can get them shipped over from oz for about 80 bucks, I did that for a friend of mine and it took about 5 days, total cost for a good didge was about 330 chuffs.

Re: Didgeridoo

In my opinion you could use a pvc pipe to play, they sound nicer anyway. Many people sell it on ebay very cheap after they are over it storing a wooden pipe
Also make sure about the regulation of importing wooden pruducts in switzerland. As far i know it has become prohibited to import wooden products in EU countries, it could be that transit rules have become strict too.

Re: Didgeridoo

Thomann seems to have some (online though). Else, and if you're OK with German, just put "didgeridoo site:.ch" into Google, lots pops up.

Re: Where can I buy a Didgeridoo?

Ok, not exactly in Zürich but... there's a bit of an Australia-"Festival" (ie. to plug tourism) happening at the Schüür in Luzern this Saturday, which according to the website includes a 'Didgeridoo-Show and Boomerang'.. whatever that means. You might even be able to buy a didge there (at swiss prices, of course ).
I've never been to this before, so I don't know what it's like, but the website is www.australia-feeling.ch if you want to check it out. Also happening in Zürich in july it seems..

Re: Where can I buy a Didgeridoo?

There is a musical instrument shop on Brunngasse in the Niederdorf. Look for the square with the Hotel Wellenberg on the corner. The shop is half way down on the left hand side. They sell many 'World Instruments' and they should have didges. I not sure of they are traditional or of the tourist variety.

Also try Musik Hug on Limmat-quai.

Re: Where can I buy a Didgeridoo?

Hi
Anyone knows someone who is looking for a Didgeridoos?

I have 3 or 4 to sell including 2 handcrafted and fire burnt Didgeridoos and 2 handpainted all from Australia.

Reason for selling is that I brought them over here from Perth to ZH, and now we're going back. I would keep them but unfortunately its really hard to bring wooden items to Oz.

Please contact me if you would like further information or actual photos. Any help would be much appreciated!

L.
