Swiss style built in bunk beds

Hello

I want to get someone to build some "swiss style" inbuilt bunk beds but can't find a picture of what I want and my german is no where good enough for that. (By swiss style I mean rustic, wood, gingham curtain type thing - I know that probably not everyones idea of swiss style - maybe should call it more swiss mountain style)

I've been in Zurich and asked at the bookshops if they had any books on traditional swiss furniture but all they had were modern style books....

So does anyone know of any books showing swiss traditional furniture I can order? Or have any pictures? Or know what these beds beds would be called in german so I can google to see if can find any?? Any searches I have tried show up basic bunk beds or chalets for rent.....

Thanks!

You mean with Swiss Chalet Gingerbread design details. That would be pretty and probably expensive.

Google "Schrankbett" or "Wandbett" under images - perhaps add "rustikal" to get closer results to what you are looking for...

Google Kajutenbett(en).

Is this the type of thing you are looking for? http://architektur.kaywa.ch/nebenbei...26tbs%3Disch:1

Hi Sharon, are you still in this group? Did you end up finding what you wanted? It sounds like what I want and I have seen lots of pictures on pinterest but not sure where to look or who to ask.
Thanks

Re: Swiss style built in bunk beds

Hi

I ended up getting a carpenter to come and build it - showed him pictures of what I wanted and he made plans based on that

Hope that’s helps
