Swiss lottery

i suddenly felt the urge to win several million francs. does anyone know what are the lottery options and how you go about buying tickets (in particular if there are any restrictions on who can win)?

Re: Swiss lottery

Some info on how to play it too. A step by step guide including photos would be highly appreciated.

Swiss lottery

You can register and then play online here www.swisslos.ch

I think you have to be over 18 years of age.

Re: Swiss lottery

Are the chances here better than in other countries? or are the odds of getting struck 3 times by lightning higher than winning the lotto?

Also will the state take 40% cut? I find that unfair! When I win I will give a nice cut to all the active EF members. How does CHF 1000 each sound?

Re: Swiss lottery

The Swiss lottery is small, with small prizes but better chances of winning a million or so. The Euro lottery is on the same website and is the opposite. http://www.swisslos.ch/

There are no taxes on the ticket but a 30% tax on the winnings.

Re: Swiss lottery

thanks. i just want to buy my ticket and have them send me the money - not waste time learning how many numbers i need to tick etc. website seems to offer such a feature.

i probably have to do euromillions - after all, what's the use of winning only 2 million CHF? sure, i could take a 2 month holiday, but then i'd have to go back to work again!
