American-style pedicure

Anyone know where I can get an American-style pedicure in the Vevey/Lausanne area? I don't need a "podologie" pedicure where they shave off your calluses, but I want something more than what I've seen offered in the salons. If anyone knows of a place where they have pedicure chairs, the kind with the foot bath built-in, please tell me! Thank you very much in advance.

Re: American-style pedicure

If you are still looking for a pedicure, this salon is shortly going to install a pedicure chair/footbath service - plus mini facials/neck and shoulder massage etc. services. Probably good to phone for exact start date. The owner spent some time in the New York beauty sector before setting up in Lausanne four or so years ago.

Posted earlier today:
I have just been to a terrific hair salon in Lausanne, (I found the salon recommended on this forum), and am happy to report I love my new cut and am thrilled with my highlights by Nicole. She is charming, professional and speaks several languages, including english. Here is the salon:

Re: American-style pedicure

I recommend The Nail Bar (I went to the one in Geneva) - they have foot baths and nail dryers (and lots of OPI/Essie): http://www.facebook.com/TheNailBar.Switzerland

2 locations in Lausanne: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=the+na...3&vpsrc=6&z=16

That is actually a good thing as they will have the same standards of care as american ones and sometimes even better... My HK and Sing pedicurists and manicurists were fabulous and costs about 35 dollars....

Re: American-style pedicure

As I would like to offer other services at my studio in the future I have an offer for anyone who loves massages, pedicures and can make it to Zug Altstadt preferably on Mon, Tue or Wed at any time:

Free pedicure witch each 90 minutes massage!

At the moment I offer classic pedicure only but using Shellac is in plan too.

This treatment involves cuticle removal (I don't cut them off if not requested, they can be pushed away to make sure your nail plate is clean and cuticle free), nail cutting and shaping, nail polish and nice foot massage with hydrating lotion.

I am ITEC qualified manicure and pedicure technician (Portobello College Dublin).
All tools are properly desinfected.

You are very welcome...
