| | Where to find plus sized clothes in Geneva
Hi Guys. I am new here in Geneva. just wondering where to get that. I don't think H&M offer XXL size of clothes. So does anybody know where to find it? Its getting colder everyday. I need a winter coat asap.

Take a look at these threads, you'll get more info about shops (both online and brick & mortar): plus-size shopping in/around Basel What not to wear... | The following 2 users would like to thank evilshell for this useful post:

Sorry, I'm unsure what they carry for men at H&M, I do know that some stores have a selection of plus sized clothes for women to a greater or lesser extent.
C&A also carries plus for women and again, I'm unsure of what they have for men.
In both cases, I will say that each store is different. I have been in two of each here in Basel and another H&M across the border in Germany and they each have different type of selection as well as different levels of selection... So, just because you're not finding it in one store, check another.
Good luck, give me a shout if you're not finding, I have a few websites bookmarked but for me personally, I like to feel the clothes to see what the fabrics are so ordering online or from a catalog is something of a "last resort" (you may or may not be the same) unless I see something really cute. | This user would like to thank Peg A for this useful post:

LOL I was going to PM him and then...
I only carry clothes for women. Depending on what you are looking for maybe as others said try H&M, but I know C&A carry some extra large clothes ...
Good luck!

Ah, the term plus sized is usually for women. There's no equivalent for men, just "larger men's clothes".
Good luck in your searches!

as the matter of fact, i tried XXL ZARA and it seemed too small for me. I couldn't even put my arms inside. I could wear XXL adidas. Is ZARA too small or am I just too big? |

I imagine for men it is a similar issue as it is for women...
ZARA is something of a "teen" store and the cuts of clothes are more tailored to the less-maturely-developed bodies of teens. What I mean to say is that you likely will find XXL there cut to the same pattern as the S there, it is simply larger.
Meanwhile, as we age, women's hips spread more, the butt spreads and sinks some, our boobs sag some, so on and so forth. I imagine for men, the back widens some, shoulders and neck usually become thicker and things like that.
So, your best bet is to go to stores that sell MEN's clothing in extended sizes rather than places like ZARA. As I've had opportunity to try clothes at H&M and C&A I feel fairly confident that for many (not all!!) of the styles they carry in such sizes are cut using a differently shaped fit model for the plus sized women's clothing, I'd hope the same to be true of the men's.
