Anfield has slipped a little
Incorrect date of first entry on my L permit

Entirely my fault as I mistook the date for my first day of employment when I arrived here from the UK. Is it just a formality to get it changed to the correct date (it's a few weeks earlier and I have evidence) when I visit the Kreisbüro for my next renewal or will my request be met with a stony face?

Speaking of renewals, this will be my fifth 12-month L permit in a row, so this time next year I will have been living here continuously for five years. Is a C permit just a formality?

If I was you, I would go back to the Kreisbüro and get it corrected as soon as convenient.

Why do you have an L permit? Are you employed? Has your residence in Switzerland been continuous? Are you talking about your current permit or the one from 5 years ago - little chance of correcting that one at this stage, I'd guess.

Why do you have an L permit?
I came here to work on a yearly rolling contract and as I understand it foreigners need a permit.

I see little if any benefit in changing the one from four years ago. I would like the actual date of entry in 2006 reflected in the current (or next) permit.
