Hi,

I am Indian, who is on L work permit and my wife is presently processing her dependent L permit to travel to Switzerland soon. We do not intend to stay in Switzerland for more than 4 to 6 months.

As my wife is presently working in India, and the company she is working would like her to continue working in Switzerland, but she would be paid in the Indian payroll.

I have few queries on this situation:

a) As dependent L permit cannot work for Swiss company. Is she legally allowed to work in Switzerland from home for an Indian company with the salary given from Indian payroll?

b) Is there any kind of declaration which needs to be done with cantonal authorities informing that she would be working for an Indian company?

c) Also, the Indian company does not want to get into any legal issues and would like to have some reference to rulebook/Switzerland official website which clarifies on this issue.
