Sorry but that is not always the case. I guess I'm just super lucky or my (non-EU) husband's company's very famous, or I don't know, but mine says I can change jobs or even work independently. I understand that this is sort of special and there's not that much chance of one getting such a B permit, but it's possible.
Or you misread it or. more likely, you already have the additional permission.
