I've moving to Switzerland to work but won't necessarily have a job when I arrive, so as far as I understand it I'll need a B permit- which will allow me to look for a job.

On many websites it states that in order to get a permit you have to show the authorites that you have health insurance and enough money in the bank to support yourself. Does anyone have a clue about how much this is? Is there a set amount or is it more of a case of ticking a box to say that you can support yourself?
