Hi,

My wife and I have been living in Switzerland for almost 10 years and for the last 3-4 years we have both had Permis 'C's.

We now need to leave the country for 12-18 months in order to renovate and ultimately sell a propertty in UK. We would then like to return to Switzerland.

I understand that it is possible to maintain a Permis C for a period of time after leaving Switzerland, is this the case, if so how is this administered ?
I'd be grateful for any advice.
