Questions about Family Regrouping and/or Student Visa
I had posted on here when I first heard about this forum about ways for me to stay longer other than on a tourist VISA, and got some responses, but none that really helped me. So I looked into it a bit more, and found something about Family Regrouping. And had a few questions before I go to the office of immigrations (I have been told they are not always the most helpful). I am 22 years old. I am an American. My dad has a B permit and my family has been living here for 4 years. I am living in Zurich Canton. I have found two different documents on family regrouping, and one said 21 years and under or dependents (which my dad claims me as on his Swiss and American Taxes) and the other said 25 and under. I'm wondering if I would be eligible for this type of visa? (We are all American). (I am unmarried, w/o kids, etc...unemployed, i am searching tho).
If family regrouping is not an option for me, (everything I come across is in german, and I dont know much german, so I have to translate it all, and I may be missing something) I was wondering about taking german lessons for a student visa. Does anyone know what schools qualify for taking German for a student Visa (and Zuri University does not)? Also do you know for how many hours a week I would have to take classes to retain the VISA?
Thank you for your help!!
