Here is my question.
I am a non EU National who is about to finally get a C Permit.

I've a girlfriend whom I want to marry and bring to Switzerland. In this case, does she also get a C Permit?

either with a B or C Permit, if she can not find a job in Switzerland, will she be entitled to sozialamt unemployment benefits?

This isn't my 'area', but at a rough guess the answer to unemployment bit depends on which country your girl-friend lives in/worked in and/or her nationality rather than what permit she gets/doesn't get. Maybe a bit more info would help the real experts on here to give you the correct advice.


Calling SwissBob: doesn't she possibly get something if she has worked in an EU country and paid into a scheme there?

I,m a non Eu married to a swiss man and my kid holds a swiss citizenship. She will only get a B permit which will be renewed yearly and this applies when married. Unemployment No. She has to work atleast 12 months in 2 yrs.

C permit she will get after 5 yrs in Switzerland and 5 yrs uninterupted marriage.
I would advice you as a non eu not to even go there before you have the swiss citizenship which will take a yr or two after permit C.
