Another visitors visa question

Hello,

I am sorry if this question is redundant, but I need to know if Uncle and Aunt who are US green card holders need a visa when they come to visit me next month for a week.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Another visitors visa question

Their citizenship ( passport ) is more important as opposed to their residence cards in the States.

US green card holders are no longer exempt from the visa obligation for short stays in Switzerland - Only persons who have a legal residence status in the United States can apply for visas at Swiss representations in the United States (e.g. F1 (I-20), H1B, G1, J1, etc.). Tourists and visitors on B1/B2 visas must apply in their country of residence. source

Thanks jrspet. I was hoping they can just hop on a plane and come here. But guess not.

Re: Another visitors visa question

They could, if they held EU passports ( or if non-EU, US, Aussie, Malaysian, Singaporean etc. which are visa-exempt for brief visits ). The USGC appears to have lost some lustre.

See this link as well.
