Hi all,

I have been living in Zurich for almost a year now and every now and then pop into English forum but have not posted my own question until now.

However I hope that someone can help me as I am needing to translate the birth certificate of my daughter (now three months old) so that I can get a British passport for her, however I do not know which translators are recognised by the embassy/passport agency.

Has anyone else been through this and know which firm I can use?
I am in a bit of a rush as the passport will take up to 6 weeks and I need to be in the UK in just under 8 weeks.
Once I have a company that is recognised (I tried calling the embassy but can not get a person, just an answer machine) then I can take get moving call them and take the document in person.
