Hi, i cannot find my marriage certificate from when i was married nearly 28 years ago in Luzern, Switzerland in a very tiny chapel. We must have dropped the dropped the ball, and on our return to the US, did not follow through and file the original certificate with vital statistics. we cannot find our original certificate, either. does anyone have any idea how I might be able to get a certified copy? please help!!!!!! thank you.

Get in touch with the civil status office in Lucerne and ask them for a copy of your wedding extract. I don't know German so I can't give you the exact link, sorry.
