Non-EU Student to Working B permit before graduating
Hi Everyone! I've read all threads but I could not find the answer that I needed. I know you all are busy so I'll make it short.
I'm a highly specialized Non-EU B permit holder (student with activity/internship).
I'm 1 semester away from getting my Master degree. I received a job offer and they want to start the permit procedure ASAP so I can start working at a 100% as soon as I'm finished with the University.
The problem is: I was told that if my future employer presents the request now, I will lose my student permit and have to leave the country 'til the canton/confederation approve it (or not!).
This would imply me not finishing the Masters and this is not an option for me!
Is it correct that I could lose my student permit if they apply before i finish the Uni? or
Do I have it guaranteed 'til I finish my studies, even if they apply for a working b permit?
How do the 6 months post-graduation for job seeking apply here? would I have to leave the country as well?
Any advise?
Thanks Alot!! Cheers!
