I tried to dig up many post in this forum and not able to find answer to my complex situation. Requesting help from experts in forum.

I am a Non Eu Citizen working on L permit from 2009 and my workpermit will expire in June this year( Renewed L permit once in 2010). Further my work is also getting finished with existing employee who is thats why not interested in extending my workpermit for next year too.

My spouse was on dependent L permit and cant work for initial 1 year. In 2nd year she got employed and got working dependent L permit which is valid till my permit expiry (June 2011)

Now my question is :
1.) If my spouse get the Work permit from employer, which i assume will be B permit, will i get Dependent B permit??

2.) If i get Dependent B permit , i assume my permit will become open and will not have tagging to my current employer( contract ending this june)??

3.) Do i need to approach migrationsamt directly to get the dependent permit as my wife will be primary applicant?

Kindly share your experinces or knowledge as possible.

Under normal circumstances she can't - her L is linked to your L and expires at the same time. In order to come back with a B you would need to leave the country for a period.

Best thing is take this to your local geminde and see what they say.
