We applied for visitor visa for Switzerland in Mumbai swiss consulate for two of my family members. After receiving the passport, they found the fotos on the Visa stamped on the passport are swapped. other details like name etc are correct. can someone advise me how to proceed.

Did they call the issuing consulate? That should be your first step.

yet to contact. in the mean time i just want to know, wheather we need to submit all the documents again, fill in the application forms . or just submitting the passport is enuf. and hw abt the fee. i can be prepared if any doc is needed.

its an error on their part or the part of VFS in attaching the photographs. Call them up and they should issue you new visa's.

Fee - since its an error on their part should be FOC. However visa processing is a money making business, so no guarantee

Check also the validity period of their visas. My dad was given 15 days and my mum 14 days. We noticed this the day before they flew back. We called up immigrations and they informed the airport police but to avoid all risks of having a bad record and maybe fees my parents had to stay their last night and almost an entire day at the airport. Luckily they offer beds @ zurich airport.

we submitted the passports again at VFS and in a day, they stamped the VISA again. no extra fee charged.
