Bring American nanny for short-term stay?

My husband and I are considering spending a couple of months in Switzerland for work this fall. We would like to bring our American nanny along to help out with our young daughter. Is a short-term arrangement of this nature (< 90 days) permissible in terms of permits, visas, etc.? Are there any implications with registration, customs or legality? We'd love to hear from anyone who may have had a similar arrangement.
