Visa Permit

Hi!
Can anyone help me or direct me to a government site in English concerning an entry permit?
Im married to a swiss, our marriage took place in my country then we applied to the swiss embassy in Australia to registar our marriage so that the swiss government can recognize our union.
However I understand that we will go through a lot of administrtaion work and might be subjected to investigation seeing that its an international marriage. My question is to enter switzerland (which we are planning to do by the end of this year) what kind of visa should I apply for? A tourist Visa? Or is there a specific type that I had to apply for?

Thank you.

Re: Visa Permit

You have a Swiss spouse - why would you need an English website?

Re: Visa Permit

naola.. (forgot the rest of your name, sorry)

Im sure they dont mean in a bad way to say your hubby is lazy, but like said before, he is swiss and making a quick phone call to the embassy will solve any question. I dont see why he dont want to do it.
I have a friend that has worked for the swiss embassy in mexico, i could give her a call and ask her or in a second thought, have you called the the swiss embassy in your country? thats exactly how i ended up being her friend, i was calling all the time asking whatever i needed to know about my trips here. the swiss embassy in your country should at least have someone able to answer your questions in your language

good luck and if you do find your answer, would be nice to know in case someone else has the same question in the future

Re: Visa Permit

Google works wonders or this:

1. Search EF with keyword "Family Reunion" or "Family Reunification" for general information.
2. http://www.eda.admin.ch/eda/en/home/...lb/afosal.html
3. You will apply for D Visa. Here is the link: (http://www.eda.admin.ch/eda/en/home/...nf/visaus.html)
4. Visa forms (http://www.bfm.admin.ch/bfm/en/home/...sformular.html)
