I'm moving from Kreis 11 to Kreis 6 on friday and I had a couple of questions that I thought might be answered here. First question is do I need to de-register at the Kreisburo in Kreis 11? Also, do I only need a copy of the new rental contract for registering in Kreis 6? Or do I also need something from the old rental contract?

Second problem, is I received my documents to extend my auslanderausweis from the Kreisburo in Kreis 11. Should I still go back to Kreis 11? Or should I register in Kreis 6 and take care of that in the Kreisburo for Kreis 6?

Because this is a move within Zurich, you don't have to de-register.

Just go with the new rental contract, your current permit, one or 2 photos and about 60 CHF to the "new" kreisburo.
