Anyone has gone thought this? Can I know your experiences?
How long took? Did you got the permit you wanted?
Anyone that knows something about this process please share it with me.
Thanks!!

Might be worth putting the thread title in English (or maybe a mix of the other Swiss languages) otherwise people who don't speak German may have the experience but won't get your thread. | This user would like to thank for this useful post: | |

I still do not find
how long takes????
Most of the posts are about non EU getting family reuinification visas, But I am EU and do not require a visa, just a permit. It is more than a month and I will like to know how much longer I need to wait for an answer.
Thanks

I am non EU, married to EU citizen. After applying in June, I was waiting 2 weeks before I've got a letter where they were asking me for more documents..Than it took me 5 weeks to get all of them. Once I sent them away, my residence permit arrived in 2 weeks..
Hope this was helpful!
and I am in Zurich, the lady at the counter told me it takes 3-4 weeks usually..

Assuming your profile is correct and you are Spanish then what exactly have you done and what exactly are you waiting for?
Family reunification in your case is at most trivial.

I am Spanish.
My husband is Spanish.
We both life and work in Switzerland since 3 years.
We always had 6 months L permits.
Now I have a permanent contract and got a B permit.
Now he is not working and either getting any money.
They ask to fill the "Familiennachzugsgesuch" in order to get a new permit for him.
I fill that form and include all information required by them, birth certificates, wedding certificate, criminal records from the last few years...
I sent everything out 7 weeks ago, and still no answer.

Don't worry about it - it's automatic so probably just on the back burner with the authorities.

I was entitled to it, there were no unusual circumstances, all the paperwork was in order, there were no questions asked. It just went through the usual queue and that's how long it took.

We are waiting for 10 weeks now for my husbands permit (we are both EU, I'm workign but he is not), so its good to know that we are not the only ones. I was starting to panic.

Should I call??
You all told me it is a matter of time, but whithin this time he doesn´t recieved any unemployment money because he can not saw to them he has a permit...This mean, we really need his bloody permit soon.
I check on the official form for the familiennachzuggesuch and look like it is between 4 to 6 weeks. That is over for us.
If I call them will I make things worse?

Thanks | | | | | I think if you call and explain the situation before you ask them if they can give you any indication of when the permit will be sent it can't do any harm.
Is there a chance you could go there personally instead?

What the hell!!! | | | | | That sounds like a major fob-off to me. Can you call them and ask for an appointment to come in and see someone. You need a face-to-face meeting to sort this out.
