The children are growing up - albeit slowly - and now only need their lunches made, a bit of medical doctoring now and again, a shoulder to cry on occassionaly ... the house needs cleaning, laundry, etc , and having someone available should an emergency occur...... And so I have more and more "free" time to fill in.

Employment for me is always part-time, or temporary .. helping people out when they need assistance, in exchange for monetary reward. ( No-one wants someone working for them for free!)

So my alternative, in self-occupation, is to resume painting then ......the object of which is to actually sell them.... whithout contravening any laws of the land!

Thanks for all the replies to my query. I'm surprised at the people who want to take up painting again, because I'm an artist also and have started painting again. If I can't get a corporate job I've played around with selling my paintings through shows or opening a gallery. I don't know how to begin though.... if anyone has thoughts or an interest, maybe we can combine efforts....
