L permit-Getting Married

I already have an L permit(for a fiancee visa) so my fiance and I have already gone through that process, but what I am curious about is how difficult it will be to actually get married. We would like to get married at the begining of 2012 and I want to have everything ready as soon as possible to avoid having any problems since 2012 is right around the corner. I am just a bit nervous about running into any problems. From experience, could anyone tell me how difficult it was to actually get married after recieving your L permit? I already know what paper work is basically requiered, but I am worried about the process. I am American, he is Swiss.
Thanks!
