Can anyone please share their experience with the renewal of L-Permit (non-EU). I am here with 24 - 36 months contract with my the company I worked back in Japan/USA.
It seemed my company initially had a tough time getting me L permit so I can move over here. The lawyers had to fight a bit to bring somone of non managing position here. But in the end, they got me L permit, and I have been here for 7 months.
My HR will file an L permit extension/renewal application for me in January but they are wary we might not get it renewed. "we will talk with the lawyer what the prospects are in January. At this point, not even sure if it's possible."
I went to ask at immigration office information counter and at kleisburo and they both said it's a standard procedure. I will get a letter from kelisburo in Feb for my company and I to sign for renewal... Is this right? so simple? or Is my company right?
Do you think there could be any bumps? I've had medical insurance etc. for me athroughout and have been complying with all other formalities/rules.
Thanks!
