I realize this is a common topic on this board, and I have looked at other postings on the subject, but I figured since waiting periods may change over time I would ask again.

I am non-E.U. (U.S.), and my employer applied for a permit in Geneva in late July 2011. Fast forward 3.5 months later and I'm still waiting and getting a bit concerned. Has anyone in a similar situation had a similar wait time and still been approved? Anybody still waiting following a summer application?

My wife applied for a B permit renewal and relocation from canton of Bern to canton of Geneva in the beginning of August. She still has not received an answer. I know other people who waited up to 5-6 months for their application to be approved. Don't worry. Hope everything will be fine soon.
