Agree, I'd definitely do that first. My impression is that there are a lot of that type of businesses around so you should find out more about them to see if you have any chance of competing. Then I'd approach a "Treuhandbüro" to get advice on the paperwork and permits you'll need. Don't assume it's going to be easy.

Re: Opening up an erotic massage business in Switzerland - what do I need to do ?

The market is saturated, so unless you have a USP, it's going to be hard. Just to give you an idea - I recently spotted an ad where they were offering quite a bit more than an erotic massage for the princely sum of 35 francs for 15 minutes. Which is disgraceful but the competition looks ferocious if you go by the number of ads in the paper for the Zurich area alone.

But I really just wanted to say - I posted in what will probably be one of the more interesting threads to go train wreck.

The problem with this thread is that being able to give useful information about this kind of business has a negative effect on your reputation

Re: Opening up an erotic massage business in Switzerland - what do I need to do ?

Why not hitch up a caravan and come and see for yourselves? The market really is swamped in the cities, but maybe there is a possibility in the villages. This is why I suggest bringing the caravan, as winter will soon be upon us.

If you want to stay legal you need to go to the "Gewerbe Polizei" in the town of your choice, in Zurich http://www.stadt-zuerich.ch/pd/de/in...rmationen.html

There are a few Swiss laws that forbid you forcing people to work here,

0.311.31

Sbrinz were you suggesting a mobile emporium? It may qualify for subsidy if performing services in the countryside (meaning the more inhospitable parts of Swissyland)....note no Shakespearian reference!

The specialest services such as SM are far more expensive 500+ an hour & thats strictly no sex. Perhaps the OP should think again of the services they want to offer.

Hi, thank you for your advices and opinions. No, we havn't surveyed the market yet, but what we are trying being in Lithuania is to get as much information as possible, because we would have to count our budget, to write a business plan and so on. But soon, in one month time we are planning to come to Zurich for 2 weeks, just to explore the territory, to see what is the demand.

Good idea. In the mean time, search on Google using German keywords like erotische Massage and you will have a rough idea.

Sample search link.

Alternate in French or Italian as you wish. Who knows, if you plan to do an on call service, you might have some clients from right here itself
