hey i had a question perhaps somebody can help me..
im kinda confused

im am an iranian and im married to a swiss for almost 3 years.. januari will be our third year.. however.. i have lived in swiss for about 8/9 years. i came here as a refugee.
i now have a B permit... but they told me in the past that i could get my C permit after 3 years.. but now ive heared that i can apply for a c after 5 years..


which one is correct ? when will i get my c finally..

further information: i have a solid contract and i have worked now for 3 years at the same company.. i have never recieved any money form the government, have always paid my own things, so i was never a burden on the swiss society.. i have no criminal record, and have no problems at all in swiss.

Your case I think you may request for a C now.

why do you 'think' that ?? need more explanation plz !

Recognised refugees ( Anerkannte Flüchtlinge ) get their C permit after 5 years on a refugee B.

i didnt get my B permit on my refugee status... i got my B permit after i got married to my swiss wife..

jrspet didn't mean that you have refugee status. As we don't know when you might get a C, any sort of guidelines might help to get an idea of the timing.

I've only heard of 5 years of B under 'special circumstances' and 10 years of B for 'normal' non-EU.
