Living in CH, working in DE - through 3rd Party

Hi All! I live in Zurich and will be working for a company in Germany. The catch is that this is only temporary employment (cover for maternity leave) and as such I will be sub-contracting through a 3rd party, instead of getting a employment contract with the company directly. Here's my question: Are there tax reasons for me to select a 3rd party to contract through in either Germany or Switzerland? As a German citizen, so I should be flexible to do both - I believe.
Thanks,
Anne
