Hi, everybody. I hope you're all having a nice day. Nice forum you guys got here! I'm sorry I have so many questions, some of which are probably incredibly stupid

. See, I'm kind of new to this. So please bear with me here.
So anyway, I was wondering, which graduate degree do you believe would provide the best chance for a non-EU citizen to enter Switzerland? Which specialty would?
For example, I hear that laws are more lax regarding IT; is this true? And if so, to what extent? Which would you say is the most open canton to IT foreigners?
What about a field like translation? A native speaker of a language that is spoken very little by Swiss nationals surely meets the whole "better than Swiss citizens" thingie, doesn't they? So, if somebody with a degree in, say, Medicine or Law doesn't qualify for jobs in their fields, could they qualify for specialized translation instead? Also, would speaking the canton's official language make it easier to
enter the canton, or does it not make a difference?
And should they decide to freelance, would this save them some trouble, or would registering a sole proprietorship outweigh any perceived benefits? Actually, can somebody enter Switzerland as a freelancer, or do they have to have an employer? And if it is the latter, last one I swear*, can they use the three months they're allowed to stay with no work visa to search for an employer who thinks they're worth the trouble?
Thank you very much.
