Finally admitted to ETH !! ( and have some questions about the visa )

2 days ago I received my admission email, and finally I got accepted by ETH.
I am a non EU student, but now I am studying in Italy. I am planning to move to Zurich next September. But I asked in the Swiss consulate and I need a visa, I cannot use my stay permit in Italy to obtain a stay permit as student in Zurich.
Since I am here in Italy, I am going to apply for the visa in the Swiss consulate in Italy, but I am worrying about this procedure, anyone has any advises for the visa procedure?

Thank you

More specifically, what do you want to know?

Thank you Kngavl for your reply.
Actually I am worrying about the prove of the financial means.
Hence I am student, I don't have this large amount of money 21'000 CHF, my parents can support me during my study, but it is still difficult to have this amount of money now.
So, I was thinking to borrow it from some relatives, but I need to know when I should give back this amount of money? I should wait until I have the stay permit, or after the application of the visa I can give it back?
Thanks

Re: Finally admitted to ETH !! ( and have some questions about the visa )

I believe the amount they want is around the region of CHF 1500 per month or maybe a bit more. So do this if you can. Lump a large amount of money like that into an account with your name on it (it can be joint), then having your supporting relatives write a letter saying that they will support you over your studies in Zurich. Top that off, with an official statement from their bank showing that they do in fact have enough money to support it (an account balance).

Technically you should only have to have the money in the account so you could print out an official bank account statement that showed you have enough money heh. After that, your free to do what you want. The Swiss can't check your bank accounts in other countries.
