I am married to swiss spouse for more than 3 an a half years, but now my spouse want to go leave switzerland & europe but will be having address and insurance here which i will be going to take care of it.

My question is my C permit is due in other 1 and a half years will this will make any problem in getting my C permit?

You will have to come back to renew the 'C' Permit.

Please read the back page of your permit, you can only leave for up to 4 years.

Re: Living abroad but keeping the address in switzerland.

Normally the authorities do a cursory check of whether or not you and your Swiss spouse are living at the same address when it is time to do the C. People married to Swiss spouses normally do not have the right to continued residence permits if they no longer live with their spouses.

I'm not saying anything about the current state of your marriage, but they are pretty good here at catching people who just stay together for paper reasons. And at any rate, not living with your Swiss spouse means you no longer have the right to stay here. Your spouse keeping the address and the insurance may not be good enough for them to think you still live together and that your spouse is still here, especially when tax time comes around. You might be one of the lucky ones and they don't check and give you your C anyway, but you could get caught.

(the legislation is different for non-CH/non-EU people married to EU citizens, who are not required to live together >_>)

Not that good.

I know of several cases where they didn't.
