Contracting out of Switzerland

I am considering moving to Switzerland (Zurich) with the aim of creating a swiss company from which I will be IT contracting with a company in London.

This is how I understand the situation. Having EU nationality, I should be able to move to Zurich for 3 months after which I should apply for a self-employed permit.

The questions I have are these;

1) Can I form the company, register for VAT and start contracting before the 3 months are up?

2) Are there any obvious complications with this structure in terms of acceptance for the self-employed permit?

3) Does anyone know of a good (and not excessively expensive) accountant in the Zurich area who can help with all the practical issues? Both in terms of forming a company and entering the country / applying for self-employed permit.

I guess what I'm really trying to find out is whether it's completely impossible to structure the employment this way ...

Any help or advice will be much appreciated.

Re: Contracting out of Switzerland

I saw the first, but not the last 2 links. I think they answer many of my questions.

The reason for setting up this structure is partly tax and partly the desire to move to Switzerland to enjoy life more. This structure, if it's possible, will allow me to obtain the permit.

Thanks for the links
