non-EU job and on-board process in Switzerland

Hi ,

I am newbies in the forum and thought it would be useful to get expert opinion from here:

I am an non-EU citizen and recently got a invitation for the job from Swiss company after interest on my profile . I am based on US now and they agreed to file the L1 permit for me (though I had previous 1 yr L1 permit which has been expired and they said canton can't provide B permit straighway) . My question encircled on below:

1) Can initial L1 permit be 2 years straightway or there are any strict rule to be of 1 year first and then next yr extendable ?
2) Is there any catalogy in L1 which specify you can change job or not change the job ?
3) If I can't change the job and my future employer thinks that I am not being useful by them in respect of the projects then can they force me to quit ?
4) If forced to quit then what would be of my existing L1 permit .Am I not eligible to stay in the country ?
5) Can I still continue searching the job there in that situation and is it possible to transfer the L1 permit to different employer .or what could be the utmost possibility ?
6) If after 1 year they decline of refuse to extend can I approach to other companies to provide the permit for me and how difficult is that or how it actually works ?

7) What is the step by step process of job offer , work permit , Visa and contractual sign for non-EU residents to get onboard in Switzerland ?

Apologies for asking so many questions but any highlight will be appreciated..

Many thanks,
