Swiss Work Permit Non-EU Secondments

Hello all,

I am a non-EU citizen currently holding my initial B work permit here in Switzerland. My Swiss employer is looking at sending me to Netherlands for a project that could last somewhere between 6 months-1 year. The easiest thing for both my employer and I is to go on "secondment" or assignment to Netherlands during this period since I will eventually return to the Swiss main office. From the research I read usually its no problem if the project or assignment is less than 90 days, but I don't know what the rules are for longer than this period.

I'm curious to find out if any readers out there have gone through the secondment process to a EU country as a non-EU national and what are the rules by the Swiss authorities? And what impacts it has on the work permit process?

The Big 4 accounting firms want to charge me a fortune so 'investigating' this work procedure so I would really appreciate any insight you kind readers have on this issue!!
