Move in date before visa entry date.

I just got my student visa and finally found an apartment in Zurich. I'm going to move-in this Saturday, August 25 (I'm currently in Germany) but I noticed the start date for entry on my visa is 1 Sept. Will this cause a problem? I'm an American citizen so I know I can legally come to Switzerland for 3 months but that's probably only for tourist purposes and considering I have a ton of stuff with me including a tv I don't think I will be considered a tourist anymore....

Should I be ok?
