Please Help!

Hello,

I hope someone can help me. I have a "B" Work permit, I am from the UK, and it does not expire until 2016. I am changing jobs (and canton) so my address will change. However I thought I could just go to my new commune and get the address changed, But my current employer as told me I must hand my permit back!!???

Please help I have until Tuesday to figure it out!!

Re: Please Help!

Just declare to your current commune that you're moving, then register at the new commune and they'll issue an updated B permit. You're a UK national so covered by the bilateral deal Switzerland has with the EU, you're not at risk of losing your right to work and live here.

Go to your current one first to deregister there then go and register at the new one.
